Each year about 50 Newcastle City Riders follow a 150 - 200 mile route across Northern England or Southern Scotland over 3 days. We usually raise around £15,000 for a cancer charity selected at our AGM.

In 2008, the 3 day ride from July 4th to 7th started in Hull, followed quiet lanes to York then round the edge of the Yorkshire Moors to Darlington, and after enjoying the stunning scenery of Durham, ended up at Baltic Square Gateshead.

This ride raised funds for the local charity  Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust

Friday afternoon : Transport from Newcastle to Hull
Saturday: Cycle from Hull to York
Sunday: Cycle from York to Darlington
Monday: Cycle from Darlington to Newcastle
